  I needed a quick tyre repair today and they did it immediately for a reasonable price. The young car mechanic was very helpful. This was my first time at this garage but would recommend to everyone. Great local business. Thanks very much again!

  Was told by both this garage and another local garage that my car required a 5 minute welding job on the exhaust. I was told to bring the car in first thing the next morning and they would do it. When I arrived first thing as instructed - I was told they never had time to look at it and it would be ready for lunchtime. So I was to either wait up to 3 hours, or walk home and come back later. Picked the car up to be told I had a bill of £36 quid (for my apparent 5 minute welding job - by my calculations - thats over £400 an hour for welding). I challenged it, and the woman at the desk went to the garage to talk to the mechanic...came back and to quote "he says it wasn't a 5 minute job". No further explanation, no reason why, no mechanic coming out to explain it. Just an "it is what it is" attitude. The customer service both in the morning and when I collected the car was non existent. The mechanics avoided eye contact until I had to say hello for the 3rd time before they would acknowledge me. Unfortunately, this wasn't my first experience and had decided to give them the benefit of the doubt with a second chance. The first time was to fit 4 new tyres - of which it took 2 mechanics the best part of 3 hours to do. Will be the last time I use this company.
